Tool Repairs and much more at our RM Service Centre, based in Wolverhampton. We have a fully trained team of engineers that can repair an extensive range of tools and equipment from power tools, petrol powered machines, excavators and even electrical PAT testing. At our service centre we will have an experienced engineer perfect for keeping your equipment up and running.

Once we have your equipment our team will assess the item for our standard inspection fee of £15 + VAT. We will then contact you with a full breakdown of what is required to keep your equipment running correctly. If a repair is required we will aim to have your equipment back with you within five working days*. If we carry out your full repair on your item the inspection fee will be waived.

We know that prevention is a better route than waiting for a piece of equipment to breakdown – that is why we recommend servicing your hardworking equipment on a regular basis. We offer a very competitive servicing rates on the most commonly used items – our standard inspection fee is £15 + VAT.

You can simply drop your item into our depot or alternatively contact us directly and we can arrange a collection.

PAT Testing

There is no legal requirement for equipment to be PAT tested however the law does state that an employer has a responsibility to ensure that all electrical equipment used by their employees is working correctly and safe to use.

The best way to do this is to regularly PAT test your equipment and record the results for future comparison. During a PAT Test the equipment is tested to see if it is correctly earthed or insulated - this means that we check to see if there is any possibility of current passing from the motor or other components to the casing of the equipment. Any equipment that fails this test is not safe to use.

While performing the PAT Test we also pay close attention to the cable condition. It is essential that cable condition is good and has not deteriorated, with no breaks or cuts in the cable and that the cable entry is snug and secure.

As part of our expansion we are excited to announce that we are now able to offer mobile PAT Testing as part of our RM Service Centre.

Servicing your plant

We can service your plant to hire industry standard, checking all fluids, filters and oils before using a steam pressure washer to get your machine looking up to scratch.

Our engineers can visit you on site or we can collect your machine and service it at our depot.
